Cases Control Room marked SHORT or THEFT. Check their reason and balance short, then Approve: the amount goes to Salary Deduction (theft × 3). If an amount is reduced after it was deducted, Salary Deduction shows it as Payback to staff.
What payroll finally took for each month, after paybacks. Only amounts marked deducted or paid back in Salary Deduction count as final. Anything not marked yet shows separately as still to deduct or still to pay back. Months are the month the shortage happened.
Deductions that may have to be paid back to staff stay here until they're solved: cases deducted with Deduct now, GHL top-up not voided (the void may be done after payroll) and Payment not keyed in (the payment may be found after payroll). Control Room clicks Void done / payment found to pay back, or Still short to close it.
Approved shortages (theft × 3) and confirmed Below RM30 show here as To deduct. Click Mark deducted once it's in payroll. If Control Room later reduces something already deducted, it shows as Payback to staff: pay it in payroll and click Mark paid back.
Flagged: every E-Pay shortage, a cashier shortage ≥ RM30, or a staff's small cashier shortages adding up to RM30 in a month. Set SHORT, REMOVE or THEFT and type the balance short after excess, not keyed in or returns. Theft is deducted × 3. Darshanya / Sangithaa pick Verify by, then Approve under it sends the amount to Salary Deduction.
Only the admin can change these. You can view them.
A payroll month runs from the day after the previous month's cut-off to its own cut-off day. Before the first rule, payroll = calendar month. Changing a rule moves shortages between payroll months, so only change future months.
